Sundrops Food Program

We are pleased to offer organic and natural, home-made lunches and snacks to our families.  All dishes will be served family-style with food items being sourced locally whenever possible.  A focus of the program will be to create as little waste as possible through reusable dishes and trays.

We strive to encourage a meaningful and healthy outlook on food for all our children. This year we will be partnering with local company Tasi and their non-profit organization Food is Love to provide this service for our families. Below you will find additional information on how to register for this program.

Tasi & Food is Love

Mark Elisei, founder of local café Tasi and non-profit venture Food is Love, has a great love for food and feeding our community nutritionally dense meals and snacks.  He feels that every bite you take should help your body in some way, rather than filling it with ‘empty’ calories like so many of our foods do today.  As a father to  young twins he has a great understanding of making healthy items interesting to children.

Snack

To remain in line with our vision we provide two organic and natural snacks per day for the children. They consist of a carbohydrate and a fruit or vegetable.  Children with special dietary needs can be accommodated, so please be sure to let us know if this is the case in your family.

Lunch Program Registration

A predetermined menu will be available each month, giving families the option to register on a monthly basis. Lunches are $4.00 + tax each day and include an entree and side items.

We use a program called School Lunch Choice to collect and process orders. Please see below for instructions that will walk you through the registration process.  Feel free to contact the front office with any additional questions.
